High-quality flexographic printing on corrugated substrates and linerboard has always been a challenge. Combining classroom sessions and time on press, AICC’s two-day seminar will focus on how to produce clean solids and line work as well as halftones and spot colors. Many typical troubleshooting issues will be addressed from dot gain and die-cutting to proper graphic design for corrugated to ensure best results. Participants will take these practices back to their home plants by the construction of Standard Operation Procedures, One Point Lessons and checklists to codify the best practices. By this method, participants learn the concepts more deeply, gain experience building standard works and return to their plants with tangible evidence of their learning. They will be equipped to adapt these standard work instructions to their own machinery and to transfer best practices to the home plant.

Learning Objectives:
1.  Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) that they can immediately train and implement employees in the plant
2.  Have a deeper understanding and experience in printing on corrugated substrates and linerboard
3.  Produce clean solids and line work as well as halftones and colors

Who should attend: Customer Service Representatives, Quality and Process Improvement Personnel, Sales Staff, Production, Lead Operators, Supervisors, Press Operators and Crew, Designers
