Measurement is a powerful tool for process improvement, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a balanced measurement of both crew and equipment performance.  In this interactive presentation Scott Heilmann of AICC Associate member company P Squared explains the math of measurement and motivation.  Unique to this program is P2's adaptation of OEE for the job shop.  Topics covered include:

Scott Heilmann, ​Scott’s industry experience began with Pacific Southwest Container in Modesto, California. While there, he spent three years as a Project Engineer and later as a Production Supervisor. He joined P-Squared in 2002, where he has worked with packaging clients all over the world implementing Lean Manufacturing practices. He is particularly skilled in the areas of training production personnel, production and profitability measurements, leading Kaizen teams, building standardized operating procedures and Value Stream Mapping. Mr. Heilmann has a BS in Industrial Technology from Cal Poly, SLO and has an MBA from the University of the Pacific.
