AICC AICC 40 Years

AICC/ TAPPI SuperCorrExpo 2016, October 17-20, Orlando, Fla. was a great event.

Over 5000 people attended educational workshops and roamed the exhibit hall. There was 150,000 sq. feet of booth space, filled with 348 exhibitors, whose drayage tonnage was 2 million pounds.

Exhibitors are lining up for 2020, with 109,000 sq. feet of booth space having already been sold.

During SuperCorrExpo Steve Young, AICC President, was also inducted into the AICC/ RISI Hall of Fame in honor of his years of service to the industry. Griffin Communications, Sparks, MD, created the following video in celebration of Steve.

Jim Haglund, Central Packaging & Display, was also honored during SuperCorrExpo. Jim was inducted as the 23rd member of the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation's Circle of Distinguished Leaders. Through the assistance of his family and the corrugated packaging industry, the lifetime recognition was received as a total surprise to Jim who was joined by friends and family who flew in for the video ceremony.  

Jim was nominated for induction by firms and individuals who made donations in his name to support ICPF. To date, these include Akers Packaging Service, AICC, Amcon, American Packaging, Paul & Jayne Anderson, BCMInks, Central Package & Display, Chuck Fienning, Haire Group, Jamestown Container, JB Machinery, Landaal Packaging Systems, Liberty Diversified International, Phoenix Packaging, Plateworks Plus, Richmond Corrugated, Royal Container, Rusken Packaging Wasatch Container, and Virginia A. Harn of  CliftonLarsonAllen.
